Problem
Across LATAM, records live in PDFs, WhatsApp, and paper. Every new doctor means re-explaining history and often repeating tests. Patients lack a simple, private, patient-controlled way to share the minimum necessary info.
Why I’m building this
This started with my wife: every time she switched doctors or hospitals, her records were scattered (PDFs, WhatsApp, paper). She repeated tests and re-explained her history. There was no simple, patient-controlled way to share the minimum necessary info. Medificha is my attempt to fix that for LATAM: a portable, privacy-first medical file that you can share via temporary link/QR + PIN, with access logs and patient control.
- Who it’s for: chronic patients, caregivers/family, and doctors who need fast context.
- Not in scope (for now): scheduling, telemedicine, billing.
MVP Scope
- Profiles
- Document upload + tagging
- Temporary read-only share (QR + PIN)
- Basic access logs
